In most counties, one local tax collector receives the local taxes, which we handle for you. We also handle your standard deductions, including federal withholdings, social security, Medicare, state withholding, state unemployment, local service tax, and federal unemployment. For garnishing, this may include overdue taxes, child support or alimony, and student loans. Retirement withholdings may include 401(k)s and simple IRAs, which we will also make sure are deducted and paid.

Beyond paydays and deductions, your grooming business must file several tax forms throughout the year. We manage these filings so you don’t have to keep up with changing deadlines or requirements.
Quarterly, we will file your Form 941, which reports the federal income tax withheld from employees’ wages, as well as Social Security and Medicare taxes. These filings also include your W-3 form, local tax return with the local tax collector, and state unemployment. These summary forms report your business’s total state tax withholdings and accompany the state’s version of W-2s at year-end. We submit local tax returns as required by your business’s jurisdiction, including all amounts withheld and paid throughout the quarter.
These filings include all required forms from earlier in the year (federal, state, and local), plus reconciliation reports to ensure that what was paid matches what was owed. This closes out the payroll year properly.
