Our Founder and President of Down to Basics Payroll, Thomas Bobik, is from Monroeville, Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. He worked in Florida and various parts of the Pittsburgh area before fulfilling his lifelong goal of opening his own business. Although bookkeeping was his main focus, he soon learned that customers desired payroll services as well. After six years of supplying nearly fifty businesses with customized payroll services, Bobik decided in 2015 to launch Down to Basics (DTB) Payroll as its own company.
